The Wright's Ferry Mansion has a strong history going back several centuries, as the house was originally constructed in 1738. The first owner of the house was Susanna Wright who was a hard worker and was extremely into silk production providing others with help in their education. She know much about medicine and law, and she tried to give this knowledge to others as much as she could. The mansion has many artifacts and different types of decor in it, ranging from Philadelphia furniture to detailed ceramics to many types of colorful glass. The mansion has overtones of self-reliance and hard workmanship that goes back generations.
