Veteran's Day in Lancaster, PA

Celebrate the events of Veteran's Day in Lancaster this year with a fun vacation in Dutch Country. Lancaster is a great place to honor those that have served in America's three branches of military, whether in the Air Force, Navy or Army. Visitors can remember the amazing freedoms they currently have while they are enjoying the sights, sounds and attractions of the Lancaster area. Lancaster is also where the United States' 15th president, James Buchanan, was born. There are several historical landmarks that many are encouraged to see while they are celebrating freedom through their veteran's efforts, including the Central Market (Lancaster), Fulton Opera House, Hamilton Watch Complex, J.P. McCaskey High School, Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, Lancaster County Prison, Rock Ford Plantation, W.W. Griest Building and Wheatland.

Visitors can also look through some of the famous museums and art while they're exploring the area's history, including the Demuth Museum, Pennsylvania College of Art and Design, Louise Arnold Arboretum and the North Museum of Natural History and Science.
