Renaissance Faires are great activities for families to participate in because they are both fun and educational. The atmosphere is like stepping into another world, and when visiting Pennsylvania Dutch Country, families will love attending the Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair at Mount Hope Estate & Winery. Hundreds of costumed actors and actresses will provide visitors with an exciting world of wonder at the Renaissance Faire, which includes a variety of exciting attractions and shows. There will be competitions by valiant knights including jousting and sword fighting, and Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth I might even make a special appearance. An English Village is set up as well with Tudor era buildings. A variety of performances will take place involving music, magic, and even Shakespearean plays. There will be 12 different stages and more than 90 different shows that will take place daily at the festival, so families are sure to have a great time at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.
