Half Marathon, 5K, & Kids Fun Run at Hands-on House Children's Museum in Lancaster, PA.

The amazing Half Marathon 5K Run at the Hands-On House Children's Museum will provide the perfect outlet for runners from across the nation to compete in. The event is during the fall, which is a competive running season for most educational systems. Visitors can view all of the beautiful area around the museum and participate in either the walking portion, Half Marathon, 5K or the Kids Fun Run if the visitors is of age. The course starts out with a slight incline and then goes flat for approximately four miles before climbing up once again. The course then become flat again as it runs past the amazing Cocalic Creek and lush Amish farmland. The 5K course is part of a long bike trail that runs through many neighborhoods in the area, providing a more residential setting. Visitors will receive prizes for the Half Marathon in the top three male and female placings as well as the 5K in the top five male and female categories.
