Great Eastern Invitational Microbrewery Festival

The Great Eastern Invitational Microbrewery Festival is a must-see for beer lovers! Since 1991, beer lovers from around the area have come to enjoy a wide variety of beers, great food, and live entertainment. For one day in August and one day in October, you can enjoy great German delicacies in the popular "Best of the Wurst" buffet, such as German sausages, pasta salad, German potato salad, red cabbage, and six different varieties of Eddie's homemade bread. Be entertained by a lively performance from the Daisy Jug Band, Born Cross-eyed, and others.

Stoudt's Brewery hosts breweries from around the country in its spacious courtyards and Brewery Hall to create a real treat for its attendees. Walk freely around the courtyards and hall to sample the fabulous food and beer.

On July 26, Stoudt's Brewery hosts the Battle of the Brewery Bands "Rock and Rollin for Charity Competition.

Details:
-    This event will take place on August 23, 2008 and October 18, 2008 at the Stoudt's Brewery in Adamstown, Pennsylvania.
-    Festival sessions are from noon to 4pm, and 7 to 11pm.
-    With your ticket, you will receive admission, a tasting glass, unlimited samplings of beer, the German buffet, entertainment, and complimentary shuttle service to local motels.
-    Proceeds from August event will benefit the Alzheimer's Association. Proceeds from the October event will benefit the Breast Cancer Foundation.
-    Attendees must be 21 years of age with a valid ID.
-    Tickets are limited and must be purchased in advance.
-    The Battle of the Bands will take place on July 26, with all proceeds going to charity. This event is from 6 to 10pm, and includes beer, food, music and a great competition.
