Lancaster County, Pennsylvania is situated in the Southeastern part of the state and is a great place to visit any time of the year. Lancaster County has an average annual temperature of 53 degrees Fahrenheit, with an average yearly rainfall of 38 inches and an annual average of 7.5 inches of snow. Most of the rainfall comes during May through September leaving February as the driest month.

Spring in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania

Spring is spectacular in Lancaster with lush green fields, newborn farm animals, and blooming wildflowers. Even though the spring usually brings warm breezes you should still pack some clothes for cool weather especially for outings after dark. March temperatures reach a high of 52 degrees Fahrenheit with lows of 34 degrees Fahrenheit. April starts to warm up with a high of 63 degrees and a low of 43 degrees. And May is very pleasant with highs reaching 73 degrees and a low of 54 degrees.

Summer in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania

Summer in Lancaster brings juicy fruits and fresh vegetables and can sometimes be hot and humid. June temperatures can reach 82 degrees with a low of 63 degrees. July is usually the hottest month with a high of 86 degrees and a low of 68 degrees. August starts to cool down slightly a high of 84 degrees and a low of 66 degrees.

Autumn in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania

Autumn in Lancaster is truly a site to see with bright oranges and flaming reds on the trees and ground and everyone getting ready for the harvest festival. September brings highs of 77 degrees with a low of 59 degrees. Things really start to cool off in October with a high of 66 degrees and a low of 46 degrees.
