During your vacation in Lancaster, PA, you may want to catch an exciting sporting event. You are in luck, because Lancaster has their own Minor League baseball team, the Barnstormers. They play their home games in the city's Northwest corridor at Clipper Magazine Stadium. The team colors are red, navy, blue and khaki. These were the same colors that Lancaster's former team, The Red Roses, used. Lancaster incorportated their Amish and agricultural heritage into their logo.

Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre
If you are interested in catching a play, you will find a wonderful tale, "Joseph," at the Sight & Sound Millennium Theatre. Set the time of the biblical character Joseph, this story shows how he kept his integrity while showing forgiveness to his betrayers. At Christmas, you can also catch a great show at the Sight and Sound Millennium Theatre called "The Miracle of Christmas." Live animals and talented actors introduce their audience to the breathtaking story of the birth of Christ.
Lancaster is known for its Amish population, and you can have an enjoyable educational experience about Lancaster's Amish history by visiting the Amish Experience Theatre and the Homestead Tour. At the Amish Experience Theater, you will see a film, "Jacob's Choice," about one Amish family's life and struggles. Afterwards, you will enjoy The Homestead Tour, which will take you inside a simpler life as you tour the home of the Amish family from the film while they go about their daily work.
