Give your family an exciting day in the magical setting of Dutch Wonderland theme park in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Dutch Wonderland transports you to a world where princesses and princes roam the streets amidst fun games, live entertainment, and plenty of exciting rides for all ages and sizes.
Everyone will have a great day at Dutch Wonderland. The smallest of visitors will have several rides to choose from, including Choo Choo Charlie, Crazy Plane, the Lady Gay River Boat, the Ferris Windmill, and others. Visitors at least 42 inches tall can ride the Bumper Cars, the Joust Family Coaster, and more. Guests at least 48 inches tall will have a blast on the Flying Trapeze, the Kingdom Koaster, the Rip Cord, and the Space Shuttle.
In addition to over thirty exciting rides, Dutch Wonderland also hosts live entertainment throughout the day. Some of the family-friendly shows you can enjoy together include Thomas and Friends Live, Beyond the Castle Walls, Duke's Dance Party, Bubba Bear and the Badland Band, and more. Throughout the year, Dutch Wonderland also hosts special events that will add to the excitement of your visit. Some of the special events planned for the coming months include the Fall Farm Fest, Happy Hauntings, and the Dutch Winter Wonderland.
If you are visiting the park during warmer months, be sure to bring your swimsuit so you can cool off at Duke's Lagoon. Duke's Lagoon is a water play area with kid-sized slides, spray nozzles, water jets and geysers, tipping cones, and a gigantic tipping bucket. To add to your experience, the area is surrounded by palm trees and umbrella-shaded seating areas.
When you've worked up an appetite from all of the fun and excitement at Dutch Wonderland, head over the Park at the Castle Cafe, the Millstream Eatery, the Courtyard Treats, or the Cookie Kitchen for meals, snacks, and cold drinks. Before you leave, stop by the Castle Gift Shop for souvenirs to remember your great day by, including t-shirts, hats, costumes, candy, and more.
Stay close to the Dutch Wonderland theme park so you can enjoy more time having fun and less time commuting to and from your hotel. There are several great hotels located within a mile of Dutch Wonderland, including the Comfort Suites Amish Country, the Rodeway Inn Italian Villa, the Quality Inn Lancaster, and the Econo Lodge North Lancaster.
Dutch Wonderland is open daily from May 23 through September 7, and most weekends through the end of the year. The park opens at 10am, and closes between 6pm and 8:30pm. Please check the schedule for hours of operation on the date of your visit.
