Car Shows in Lancaster

Car enthusiasts just love Pennsylvania Dutch Country! In Lancaster and the surrounding area, you can find dozens of car shows taking place throughout the region all year long. Some car shows are designed for specific types of vehicles such last year's North East Hemi Owners Car Show and the Springfest Corvette Fun Show. Others are more broad in nature, and some even support a good cause like the Cruise for Cancer at Ned's and the Relay for Life Car Show.

Midsummer Night's Dream Car Show

If you are planning to visit the Lancaster area this year and want to catch a car show or two, there are a few you won't want to miss. The Midsummer Night's Dream Car Show takes place each August at Longs Park in Lancaster, and blends a fun Shakespeare theme complete with costumed interpreters with the sleek steel of classic cars. The result is fun the whole family will enjoy! The Neffsville Car Show is another popular event for auto enthusiasts. This show typically is held in September each year at the Mannheim Township Park. The event is open to the public and brings over a hundred different classic cars and hot rods each year.

PeachFest

If you are planning to visit either of these two car shows, you will also want to take some time to enjoy PeachFest, an annual tradition in Lancaster each August. This festival will be a family favorite, featuring old-fashioned family-friendly games, arts and crafts, magician acts and other live performers and plenty of fresh, ripe peaches and other treats. If you are planning to visit Lancaster for other car shows throughout the year, you may want to time your visit to enjoy other special events like the Taste of Pennsylvania Wine and Music Festival held in May, or the Long's Park Arts and Crafts Festival in July.

Fourth of July

Fourth of July is always a popular time to visit Lancaster. Lilitz Springs Park is the place to be in Lancaster on the Fourth of July. The park has been the community gathering spot for over two hundred years, and brings together thousands of locals and visitors for a parade, a beauty pageant, musical acts, food and drinks, and a grand fireworks finale in the evening hours.
